Safe, Secure, Sustainable Paper Shredding and Product Destruction

In the paper shredding and product destruction industry there’s a misconception that all destruction companies automatically recycle your shredded and destroyed waste. This is not always the case! Many large corporate shredding companies don’t actually recycle all of their shredding paper. They may however make vague claims to being “green” and “environmentally friendly” -- without backing it up with facts.

At Corporate Document Destruction we believe that it’s only responsible to recycle 100% of all our shredded paper. It’s simply the right thing to do! And our clients agree. They appreciate the fact that we’re helping them to be an active part of the sustainability process by ensuring that their waste paper is transformed into other paper products such as cardboard boxes, toilet paper, hand towels, kitty litter.. And more!

By choosing Corporate Document Destruction as your paper shredding provider you’re actively contributing to a more sustainable future for us all.

  • Landfill Diversion: In any year, through our recycling partners we save more than 1.7 million tonnes of paper and cardboard from ending up in landfill.
  • Closing the Loop: The paper recycling process is not just the waste paper but also what it will become in its ‘next life’. For instance, the fibre from used printer paper can be recycled into new paper products such as office photocopier paper, toilet paper, kitty litter, paper towels, and more. It’s a process that can repeated over and again and directly reduces the cutting down of old growth forest.
  • Reducing Cost and Impact: By working with local government, community, our customers and industry groups, we can all save resources.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your assistance with this project. It was quite demanding and required a fairly big effort from yourself the rest of your team.

I believe I will be contacting you again in perhaps 2-4 weeks with a view to destroying additional tapes. As the previous task was fairly large, I will endeavour to reduce the quantity per day of destruction, so we may have another 2 trips to plan. Nonetheless, as soon as we are ready, I’ll be in touch.
